"Green Eggs and Ham" is an epic novel about a young man in search of breakfast. He is confronted by Sam I Am and hides his true emotions about green eggs and ham. Sam I Am pressures this young man and eventually cracks and eats the green eggs and ham. This is just a classic tale of breakfast... or is it?

I believe that Green Eggs and Ham represents Sex and Drugs. Sam I am represents peer pressure which we face every day. The young man refuses these "green eggs and ham" in a train, a plane, a box, and even with a fox. His struggle continues throughout the entire novel. "Sam I Am" keeps trying to make him do the "green eggs and ham". This tale ends in tradgedy as the young man gives into the pressure and becomes a "green eggs and ham" addict.
